Traditional botanicals

Old roots.
Straightforward formulas.

From cold-pressed Black Seed and Castor Seed Oils to concentrated Cayenne and our Oil of Oregano blend, these are time-honored botanicals kept intentionally simple.

Four botanicals. Four different traditions.

Not every botanical is meant to be handled the same way.

This collection brings together pressed seed oils, a steam-distilled botanical oil, and a concentrated pepper extract. What connects them is not a shared format, but a long history of traditional use and an emphasis on keeping each botanical close to the form that makes the most sense for it.

01

Black Seed

Nigella sativa is cold pressed to preserve the character of the whole seed oil, including its naturally occurring thymoquinone and distinctive peppery, aromatic profile.

02

Castor Seed

Castor Seed Oil belongs to a different botanical tradition: a rich, substantial oil chosen for its purity, versatility, and long-standing place in everyday wellness routines.

03

Cayenne

Cayenne is offered as a concentrated liquid extract, keeping the warming character of the pepper in a format that is very different from the pressed oils beside it.

Oil of Oregano

Steam-distilled Origanum vulgare is paired with Black Seed Oil in one concentrated formula, bringing naturally occurring carvacrol and thymoquinone together with no fillers or unnecessary extras.

The preparation matters

The method should serve the botanical.

Processing is not something we standardize across every product. The goal is to preserve what makes each botanical distinctive while avoiding unnecessary steps that can alter the finished oil or extract.

Preserve the natural profile Processing should retain the naturally occurring constituents that give each botanical its characteristic composition.
Keep freshness in mind From pressing and distillation through bottling and storage, careful handling matters long after the plant is harvested.
Avoid unnecessary processing More processing is not automatically better. We favor straightforward preparation that leaves as much of the botanical intact as practical.
Let the plant determine the form A seed oil, aromatic leaf, and pepper do not need to become the same kind of product. The finished format should make sense for the botanical.
Whole oils vs. concentrated formats

What are you actually choosing?

Whole botanical oils

Black Seed and Castor Seed Oils are selected for the character of the complete oil itself. Texture, aroma, freshness, and how the seed was pressed all matter.

More concentrated formats

Oil of Oregano and Cayenne put more emphasis on concentrated botanical constituents, making a small serving part of the point rather than the volume of the oil.
